Bright, airy double room in a spacious flat in Bow in Bow, Cumbria for sale

Bright, airy double room in a spacious flat in Bow

I am a self-employed documentary photographer in my 30's looking for someone friendly and interesting to share a fantastic flat in a wonderful, leafy part of East London. The flat is very spacious with a huge open plan living and dining room with two dining room tables and two sofas’. There are two bathrooms so no squabbling over the shower. The flat has plenty of natural light and a lovely terrace overlooking the communal back garden, which is wonderful in summer. The kitchen has an excellent oven and gas hob and as I like cooking there are plenty of herbs and spices to use. The bedroom has a double fitted wardrobe, a chest of draws, and small desk. The bedroom is a double room and comes with a double bed. There is gas central heating and hot water on demand. I have very high speed broadband and a small TV, as I am not a huge TV person. The flat is on the ground floor of a purpose built new development in Bow. It is a very peaceful residential development with excellent triple glazed windows so no London noise, meaning you get a great night sleep. It is a very relaxing oasis when you return from a busy day or night in this fantastic, crazy city. The location is great; there are plenty of shops just a few minutes walk away. It is a 10-minute walk to Bow Road tube station and Bow Church DLR, you can get into Canary Wharf or the City in 25 minutes from the door. Hackney Wick overground station is also only a 15-minute walk away. The number 8 bus also goes from the end of the road outside so no shortage of transport. The flat has secure parking underneath the building for a small yearly fee and also has a locked room for bicycles; the area is very popular for cycling. There is an abundance of green space all within walking distance. The gorgeous Victoria Park is 5 minutes away, perfect for picnics in summer. Regents Canal is nearby, great for walking or cycling. The newly finished wetland is now open in the Olympic Park, which is wonderful for strolling around or taking a good book. The river Lee and Hackney Marshes are also within walking distance for a real taste of nature. There are some wonderful cafes within a few minutes of the flat, which do excellent coffee and brunch. There are a number of really good pubs within a 10-minute walk, two of which also do excellent food. The rent is £850 pcm including all bills and council tax. The deposit is £850 I am looking for someone who is friendly, happy, and laid back, to move into the second bedroom when my flatmate moves out at the end of February. I would like to find someone who would be happy to have a glass of wine or a meal together now and again, but is also happy doing their own thing. I am an avid Lindy Hopper, and go dancing three or four times a week, I love swing as much for the music as for the dancing. I am a jazz fan, and the clothes are also fabulous, I enjoy shopping for vintage when I can. I am involved in photography and am one of the admins of Photo Forum, running monthly events; I also regularly attend exhibition openings and book launches. I am also very fond of the ocean, the sunshine, walks in the park, laughter, art, food, friends, and of course, a good beer.
